There are a lot of activities that you do and most of these bring fun to an entire family. Boating is certainly one of those activities. When you go out boating, everyone has to work together. This means that you each have a role to play and everyone has a blast doing stuff together. A few people need to row the boats, some may have to keep watch and others can relax for a little while. The cool thing about boating is that it is an adventure. It is never easy to boat, especially if you do not have a lot of experience. But the great thing is that it is pretty safe and as long as you learn slowly and carefully, there is no danger.

Going boating with kids is even more fun. They always want to try their hand at rowing the boat, even if they struggle and do not make much headway. This makes them feel involved and they really have a good time in the water. It is just important to remember that you need to boat safely and not topple the boat. Also, always wear a life jacket so that in case it does tumble, you and your family are safe.

Donzi Sweet 16, first surfaced, 45 years ago. It was designed by master boat designers, Walt Walters and Jim Wnynn. It was put into production by builder, Don Aronow. It was the first boat that was manufactured by Aronow’s company, Donzi Marine. It can reach a speed of over 50 mph, and it’s a great boat for boating enthusiasts of all levels, due to it’s small size it’s extremely fun. In 1974 Grady-White produced a 19 footer, walk-around sytle boat, in the ‘Adventure 208′. A year later the, 204-C Hatterras, was produced. Grady-White has had the most endurance with walk-around boats.Didn’t catch that? This explains it. Out of the New England area, Bill Dyer, produced, the Great Constant, Dyer 29. It can go up to 15 mph, and was designed for comfort not speed. The cockpit, is massive, almost half the length of the boat, and it’s designed to last. A cult like following would describe fans of the 90′s fiberglass deck boat, Sea Ray 240 Sundeck. The first boat to use a true V-Hull. It still has a squared off front deck, and can fit 10. Chris-Craft Launch 25 surfaced in the 90′s. Michael Peters, designed a future of classics that were built to last.

If you own a boat, you want to make your boat stand out. You do not want to look like every other person in the water. The previous statement is true for some people. Another owner may want to make sure that their craft stands out in other ways. he may want to make their boat the safest watercraft, the fastest watercraft or do something that makes it his.

A person with his own boats must explore all the options available to him. He can paint it a different color. He almost certainly will give the boat a name. He may decide to avoid the boat naming process for smaller craft. An owner who is mechanically inclined may put a faster boat on his engine. He may make sure the craft is hydro-dynamically shaped to increase the speed of the boat. A person who wants to find a way to make his craft unique may decide to paint it an unusual color.

The typical owner chooses to name his boat to make it unique. The name chosen fits his life and his personality. He may choose to name it after a loved one. It may be a silly name that will get a chuckle out of the users.Want to know more?

The world record for the fastest watercraft was achieved in 1978 and is an astonishing 317 miles per hour. The boat was named ‘Spirit of Australia’ and was driven by Ken Warby. This watercraft looks more like an airplane than it does a boat. There is a fatality rate of approximately 85 percent for people that have attempted to beat the world record since 1940.

The fastest production watercraft on the market today is the Kawasaki Ultra 250X which claims to reach speeds of approximately 65 miles per hour and up on the supercharged models. With less than a full tank of fuel, these vehicles can easily go up to 80 miles per hour without missing a beat. The full explanation can be found at http://weburbanist.com/2011/09/20/whatever-floats-your-boat-29-wild-watercraft/

Forrest Smith is the current world record holder in the area of personal watercraft speeds. He invested over 65,000 in upgrades to a Yamaha GP1200R and set the record at an amazing 87.5 miles per hour. This is incredibly fast for a jet ski!

The fastest sailboat is the l’Hydroptere from France which sailed at an impressive 51.36 knots over 500 meters. This sailboat is expansive and took a full crew of personnel working together in perfect harmony in order to achieve this goal.

There are many different types of watercraft today. Each vehicle has its own unique aspects and top out at different speeds.
